Welcome to
Overbigging
Superior self-catering accommodation sleeping six people in the centre of neolithic Orkney
This large self catering property provides the visitor with everything necessary for a very relaxed and comfortable stay in Orkney. The conservatory has delightful views of the Hills of Hoy in the distance, the Harray loch and the World Heritage site of Maes Howe.
The kitchen contains everything needed for food preparation and laundry as you would expect at home. All linen and towels are included as is the wi-fi.
Situated at the top of a gentle rise, the views all round are beautiful due in no small part to the clean and clear air.
Overbigging is within a short distance of three monuments which are 5000 years old and comprise a World Heritage Site. The dig at the Ness of Brodgar is located in the midst of this group and has caused great excitement among archaeologists.
Orkney has great trout fishing lochs and one of the best is just at the foot of the farm’s land. The fishing is free but a contribution to the Orkney Trout Fishing Association is much appreciated.
